Carl (00:00):
All right, welcome back to the Make Your Dog Epic Dog Training Podcast, the number one Tulsa dog training podcast where we tend to use the word Tulsa and dog training. So I got to ask you this, Aubrey, how old are you?
Aubrey (00:14):
16.
Carl (00:15):
Brody, how old are you?
Brody (00:16):
I’m 15.
Carl (00:17):
Okay, you’re 15. Now, Brody, do you own a dog?
Brody (00:22):
I do own a dog.
Carl (00:23):
Is the dog well-behaved?
Brody (00:26):
Sometimes.
Carl (00:27):
What kind of dog do you have? How old is the dog? How much does it weigh? What color? What kind of breed? Tell us about the dog there, Brody.
Brody (00:32):
Its breed is a Lagotto and it is four years old and it is brown.
Carl (00:38):
It’s called a Lagotto?
Brody (00:39):
Yeah.
Carl (00:39):
Is it a well-behaved dog? Does this dog eat items off the table? Does this dog pee in your closet? Does this dog poop on shoes? Does this dog poop in shoes? Does this dog vomit on your carpet? What kind of dog is this?
Brody (00:53):
It’s pretty well-behaved. It doesn’t do any of that.
Carl (00:56):
Really? Okay, Aubrey, do you know anybody who has a crazy dog?
Aubrey (01:01):
Yes.
Carl (01:02):
You do? And I’m not asking for the person’s name, okay? And I’m not asking for the breed of dog, but so you know somebody who has a crazy misbehaving dog?
Aubrey (01:10):
Yes.
Carl (01:11):
And what kind of craziness does the dog do?
Aubrey (01:14):
Pee on stuff, climb on the counter.
Carl (01:16):
Often?
Aubrey (01:16):
Escape, yeah.
Carl (01:18):
It often pees on stuff?
Aubrey (01:19):
Yeah, it pees on stuff, escapes.
Carl (01:21):
What kind of pee? What kind of pee is it doing, full flow? Or is it a little?
Aubrey (01:26):
Drizzle.
Carl (01:27):
Okay, so you’ve seen it though, and do these people live in fear of the dog? Are they afraid of the dog? Or do they not invite people over because the dog terrorizes them?
Aubrey (01:38):
Yeah, it kind of wears them down. It kind of causes a lot of issues.
Carl (01:41):
Brody, do you know people like this that live a life that is maybe 1/10th of what it could be because they live in fear of the dog or the judgment that others may have that their dog, White Fang or Cujo, is pooping and peeing on everything?
Brody (01:56):
Oh, yeah.
Carl (01:56):
You’ve seen this?
Brody (01:57):
Yeah.
Carl (01:57):
Okay, so don’t tell me the person’s name or the breed of dog, but you can picture in your mind somebody who has a poorly behaving dog. What is this dog doing?
Brody (02:10):
Peeing on things.
Carl (02:11):
Is this a real thing?
Brody (02:13):
Yeah.
Carl (02:13):
Okay, and is it doing it all the time?
Brody (02:16):
Sometimes.
Carl (02:17):
Okay, and then so what else does their dog do?
Brody (02:19):
It runs away and stuff.
Aubrey (02:21):
Jumps fences.
Brody (02:22):
Yeah.
Carl (02:23):
Really? So are you guys thinking about the same person here, probably?
Aubrey (02:26):
I think so.
Brody (02:27):
I think so too.
Carl (02:28):
All right, well all I can say is you know what it’s like. A poorly behaving dog can totally impact your life and take your morale down a notch there. So at Make Your Dog Epic Tulsa Dog Training, Aubrey, the first lesson is just 50 cents. So why would we possibly, why would we offer the first dog training lesson for just 50 cents?
Aubrey (02:48):
There’s just to show you that you do a good job, and there’s no pressure, so you can just-
Carl (02:53):
No pressure, yeah. The kind of training we do is called focused based positive reinforcement training. So what that means is that the focus is on getting your dog to focus. They do it with a side of positive reinforcement. Now, there are other dog training companies that have other dog training philosophies, and a lot of people have a concern to leave their dog with a trainer they just met for a month or a week or two weeks. Brody, why do you think the average consumer that has a soul and that has a brain and that has a mind that works, why would they be a little bit hesitant about leaving their dog with somebody they just met?
Brody (03:28):
Because they could die or be stolen.
Carl (03:31):
What do you think, Aubrey?
Aubrey (03:33):
They could mistreat it or not feed it well.
Carl (03:36):
So it makes sense to have some concerns?
Aubrey (03:38):
Yeah, to a lot of people, their dog is like a child. It’s a-
Carl (03:42):
So we bring the dog to you. We meet you, the consumer. We say, “Mr. Consumer, Ms. Consumer,” we say, “We’d like to meet you.” We meet you, and we do the first lesson for 50 cents. So you’re able to see the kind of training that we provide. Again, that first lesson is how much, Aubrey?
Aubrey (03:58):
50 cents.
Carl (03:59):
And then after that, we say, “Brody.” We say, “Brody, we hope you train your dog. Do you like the level of training we’ve provided today?” If you said yes, you see we say, “Well, hey, we have three different packages. It’s package A, package B, package C.” Now Brody, why don’t we call it package D, package E, or package F?
Brody (04:16):
Because it’s not in order.
Carl (04:18):
Okay. So we have package A, package B, and package C. We have the first three packages and we say, “Now package A costs this amount. Package B costs that amount. Package C costs this amount.” Basically, if you have a very difficult to train dog breed or you want your dog to learn more difficult tricks, that’s package C. If you have a pretty standardized dog and you want your dog to learn a handful of tricks, that’s package B. If you want just the basic training, you want your dog to stop misbehaving, we can do all of that. We help train the dog to change the dog’s behavior without changing their personality.
(04:53)
Then we have a scholarship option. So if you’re in a tight spot, Aubrey, everybody can afford to have their dog trained. Now, when we bring the dog back after we’ve trained the dog and worked with the dog, why do we, after we train the dog, why are we going to make sure that you as the consumer are super happy before we move on? Aubrey, why would we drop off the dog and make sure that you as the consumer are super happy with the dog training that we’ve provided?
Aubrey (05:20):
Because you’re paying good money for it and you want to make sure the customer’s happy with the service.
Carl (05:24):
Right, and then what we want to do is we want to gather objective reviews from actual customers that do not hate us. Again, that first lesson, pop quiz, Aubrey, the first lesson is how much?
Aubrey (05:34):
50 cents.
Carl (05:34):
Yes, and then Brody, after that, we’re going to present the customer with package …
Brody (05:38):
A, B, and C.
Carl (05:39):
Right, and then we also have scholarship options available to make it affordable for everybody. So if you’re out there today and you’re looking for puppy training, dog training lessons, Tulsa board and trade, you’re looking for how to train a dog in Tulsa, you’re looking for the most affordable dog training that Tulsa has to offer, you are looking for the ultimate dog training experience. Carl (06:11):
Oh man, you’re melting my mind. Thank you, guys, and we’ll rejoin with you guys in five minutes. Is your dog and furry friend holding you hostage? Will your dog not stop pulling on its leash and eating your sausage? Who wrote that? Well, I don’t mean to brag, but I actually wrote it. Wow, it rhymes. People dig it like a dog. You get it? Okay, so I’m just going to keep reading. Will your dog not stop jumping on you or pooping in your house like you’re on the set of Jumanji or living in a zoo? It only took me two weeks to write that line while sitting at the base of a waterfall while gazing upon my epic dog. The dog that once held me hostage was now my best friend. It’s so good. The dog that would never listen was now all ears.
(06:57)
It’s so good, I just want to cry. Pull yourself together, man. If you too want to transform your dog from a furry terrorist into your best friend, what you need to do is schedule your first lesson at MakeYourDogEpic.com where your first lesson is always just 50 cents. With the savings, you can use that to pay the rent. Again, your first lesson is always just 50 cents at MakeYourDogEpic.com. Wow. Stop the endless barking. Reduce the aggressive behaviors. Prevent dog jumping. Stop your dog from chasing the elderly UPS driver as he attempts to deliver a package. Stop your dog from biting Pam, your yoga pants wearing neighbor, as she just attempts to speed walk in peace. Stop your dog from eating your wife’s wedding dress and peeing in your closet on top of your Christmas gifts. Stop the madness at MakeYourDogEpic.com.
(07:50)
Experience the revolutionary focus based positive reinforcement training and methodology. Our goal is dog obedience, but never at the expense of dog personality. It’s the same dog, but now it’s all ears. Wow.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
Man, Carl, you are a talented vocal artist.
Carl (08:10):
Well.
Speaker 4 (08:13):
I can feel the passion. It’s contagious.
Carl (08:15):
Well, my friend, I am passionate about the product. I once went 60 days without sleeping.
Speaker 4 (08:22):
Really?
Carl (08:23):
My wife’s wedding dress got eaten and my neighbor Pam was bitten by my dog.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
Oh, man.
Carl (08:28):
My quality of life was at all-time low. I actually didn’t invite people over to my home for months because of the new dog. I always smelled like urine.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
You do still smell a little bit like dog urine.
Carl (08:41):
Well, I made my dog epic. I was hostage. That’s where the passion comes from. You’ve got to believe in your product and you’ve got to project from the diaphragm.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
The diaphragm?
Carl (08:49):
To bend your knees.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
Bend the knees, bend the knees.
Carl (08:52):
Drink ginger.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
Drink the ginger.
Carl (08:54):
And you’ve got to ingest apple cider vinegar.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
Apple cider, I can do that.
Carl (08:57):
With a dog bone. You want chew on the dog bone before the-
Speaker 4 (09:00):
Hard pass. I’m not going to.
Carl (09:01):
Recording so that you can emulate the dog. You should listen to Atomic Dog.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
I can do that.
Carl (09:08):
But you’re not a dog, but you want to just chew on the bone. You get the oversized bone, not the regular sized.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
Hard pass, not going to chew on the bone.
